Technical training

The 3-part training course essential for electricians and custom installers who wish to be Certified Domotics Installers. They each contain a mix of presentations and practical exercises in system design and programming. Participants are invited to bring their own lap-top PCs on which to practice system programming.

Part 1 TELETASK Domotics Technical Overview

This workshop covers the critical engineering issues regarding integrated controls including a detailed review of the main domotics system components and the implementation processes including system design, installation and programming.  It is intended to give installers a solid grasp of the system concept and its applications so that they can talk with confidence about domotics to their clients.

Part 2 System Design and Programming

Provides a practical introduction to a real project design (can be one of your own projects), optimising cable routes, selecting and installing products, and covers more advanced automation and control functions such as using light, temperature and humidity sensors, setting up heating/cooling controls, access controls, audio/video interfaces and various energy saving functions.

Part 3 Advanced Graphics Displays and Internet Interfaces

Covers the set-up of internet and wi-fi connections to a domotics system so that an installation can be monitored, controlled or up-graded remotely, using smart phones, PCs or wireless touch screens.  Also covers the use of the Teletask GUI software for creating pictorial representations of an installation on any PC or touch screen control panel.

DOMOTICS TRAINING CERTIFICATE

Issued to participants who complete all three training courses and submit a test paper that achieves a pass mark of at least 75%

DOMOTICS INSTALLER CERTIFICATE

Issued to a company or individual that has satisfactorily completed a Teletask domotics project from design, through installation, programming and commissioning
