Safety & Security
Within a TELETASK domotics infrastructure there is a comprehensive range of safety and security features for:
Fire prevention: all heat-generating devices (e.g. TVs, amplifiers, cookers) automatically switched OFF at the mains socket when you leave the house or turn-in for the night.
Any emergency: automatic activation of a range of functions such as:
-
alarm signals or messages displayed in every room
-
all lights switched ON
-
doors unlocked
-
sends you a text message or email stating that the fire or intruder alarm has been triggered.
Access control:
-
with electric latches and locks, you decide who gets into your property and when
-
the TELETASK video monitor lets you see who is at the door and provides a button with which to open it remotely
-
the TELETASK proximity card reader system is a more secure alternative to keys. Cards can be programmed to open specific doors or gates at any time or at specific times (cards for the cleaner, gardener or nurse for example). If a card is lost or stolen, it can be electronically deleted from the system in seconds
Overflow protection: the TELETASK water sensor can immediately trigger water shut-off valves to protect the property from leaks and water damage.
TELETASK domotics has been installed in thousands of homes for elderly and disabled people, thus maintaining their independence and reducing the load on social services.
